Sad News

This is my favorite time of the year. The rainy season has come to a close & the weeds are growing all over the hills. Oakland uses a herd of goats as fire abatement - the goats dot the hillsides chomping away at the new growth & clear the woods of fire danger. Goats are so cute & they do a good job. Today there was a horrible article in the news. Why would someone sneak up on a pen of one-month old goats & shoot them? Horrible person. I love those little goats.
