Behind our campsite was a ravine with a creek. If I was a kid camping I would have spent my entire trip down there exploring. We wandered down to creekside fro about an hour to let Ginger run free. Jane wandered across the ravine on a fallen redwood tree. This is a picture of me with Fuego & the Boy taken by Jane from mid-tree.
The trip was great. Beautiful weather, tall tall trees, good food, fun friends, not so pesky critters. Camping is perfect - three days of relaxing and I come home smelling like smoke with dirty feet. Jane is right: the shower upon return is awesome.
