Longer Days

What is the point of longer days? Doesn't our government have more pressing issues than altering the man made construct of time? The sun comes up... the sun goes down... Does it really matter what time the clock says when that happens?

i actually think it's a great idea. i've heard that lots of kids are killed or injured on halloween because it gets dark so early.

there are energy-related arguments for doing it, too.
